Ajinkya Rahane to start cricket academy in Mumbai
Skipper of the Mumbai team and star Indian cricketer Ajinkya Rahane, recently uploaded a heartfelt message for the various stakeholders involved in the initiation and the actualization of a cricket academy he has set up in Mumbai.
Although the specifics about the establishment weren’t disclosed by the winning skipper of the 2024 edition of the Ranji Trophy, Rahane thanked the treasurer of the BCCI, Ashish Shelar, and the chief ministers’ panel for the state of Maharashtra for lending a supportive hand in turning his dream to reality.
Although the academy built by Rahane might not be as expansive as compared to the freshly-built new National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru, it’s surely slated to cater to the youngsters of Mumbai and enhance their technical and all-round expertise of the game.
