Nepal spinner Sandeep Lamichhane tests Covid-19 positive
Nepal legspinner Sandeep Lamichhane has tested positive for coronavirus, the cricketer confirmed on Saturday (November 28). The bowler took to his official Twitter account to share the news.

The legspinner had recently signed up with the Hobart Hurricanes for the upcoming Big Bash League edition. Lamichhane has previously played for the Melbourne Stars in the BBL. He was also part of the Delhi Capitals in the 2020 IPL but didn’t feature in a single game. The cricketer’s participation in this year’s BBL remains uncertain as of now.
Three other players from the Nepal cricket team, including their captain Gyanendra Malla and vice-captain Dipendra Singh Airee have also tested positive for Covid-19.
