‘My boy’s first flight’ – Hardik Pandya shares adorable photo with son Agastya

Hardik

India all-rounder Hardik Pandya is set to return to action after being away from national duty for a while. Hardik last featured in the three-match ODI and T20I series against Australia but didn’t play the Border-Gavaskar Test series.

Hardik has now been added to the 18-member squad for the first two Tests against England. England have arrived in India for a full-fledged tour comprising 4 Tests, 5 T20Is and 3 ODIs. The first Test starts on February 5 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

As Hardik is preparing to enter the bio-bubble for the series, he took to his official Instagram handle to share an adorable photo featuring him and his son, Agastya. In the picture, Agastya can be seen sitting on his father’s lap and both are happily posing for the camera.

Tough times for the Pandya family

On the personal front, the Pandya brothers have been dealing with the loss of their father, Himanshu who recently passed away due to cardiac arrest. While Hardik was away from national duty at the time, Krunal was part of Baroda’s campaign in the ongoing Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy. Upon hearing the news of his father’s demise, Krunal left Baroda’s bio-bubble to join his grieving family for his father’s last rites.
