Lillee is the fifth-highest wicket-taker in the history of the Ashes with 128 wickets to his name, out of which 96 have come in England. The Perth-born speedster has a remarkable average of 20.56 with six five-wicket hauls and two ten-wicket hauls to his name.
1. Shane Warne (129 wickets)
The wrist spinner is arguably the greatest spinner to have ever played the game. Warne’s name is etched with golden words in Ashes history as he is the leading wicket-taker in the series having 195 wickets to his name. The wrist-spinner picked 129 wickets in England at an average of 21.94 and an economy of 2.51 with eight five-wicket hauls and three ten-wicket hauls.
