3. Andrew Flintoff (78)
Former England all-rounder Andrew Flintoff batter struck 78 sixes while batting at no. six or lower in his Test career. He played 79 games and scored 3709 runs at an average of 31.16. In 127 innings, Flintoff hit five centuries and 24 half-centuries with the best score of 167 at no. six or below. The explosive batter also sent the ball to the ropes 498 times.
2. Chris Cairns and Tim Southee (82)
Former all-rounder Chris Cairns deposited the ball 82 times into the stands in Test cricket. The right-handed batter amassed 3228 runs in 61 games at an average of 33.62 with 82 sixes while batting at those positions. In 100 innings, Cairns hit five tons and 22 fifties with the best score of 158. He also slammed 358 fours in his Test career.
Current Kiwi skipper Tim Southee recently surpassed some prominent names by smashing a few maximums against England. In 92 Tests, Southee has hit 82 sixes and 194 fours. In 132 innings, he has mustered 1950 runs at an average of 16.11 with six fifties and the best score of 77*.

Former Australia wicketkeeper batter Adam Gilchrist occupies the top spot. The destructive left-handed player smacked 93 maximums while batting at no. six or lower along with 622 fours. In 96 matches, Gilchrist amassed 5074 runs at a solid average of 46.98. In 126 innings, he slammed 15 centuries and 24 half-centuries with the highest score of 204*. Overall, Gilchrist struck exactly 100 maximums in his Test career.
