3) 36 – Richard Hadlee
Former New Zealand all-rounder Richard Hadlee sits in third place in the list of bowlers with the most fifers in Test cricket. Hadlee represented New Zealand in 86 Tests, where he took 36 fifers and was one of the most influential players in the squad. He took a whopping 431 wickets in 86 Tests at an average of 22.29 runs with an economy of 2.63.
2) 37 – Shane Warne
Legendary Australian spinner, the late Shane Warne holds the record for the second-most fifers in Test cricket. Warne played a whopping 145 Tests for Australia where he took 37 fifers. Furthermore, he also graced his career with 708 wickets at an average of 25.41 runs and an economy of 2.65
1) 67 – Muttiah Muralitharan
Legendary Sri Lankan spinner Muttiah Muralitharan has the record for the most fifers in Test cricket. The now 51-year-old was a force to be reckoned with in his prime as he played 133 Tests throughout his career and took 67 fifers and 800 wickets.
