His streak began with a magnificent 169-run knock against Australia in Perth in 2012 and ended against Sri Lanka in Colombo (SSC) in 2014 when he scored just 12.
3. Len Hutton and Rohan Kanhai (25)
Former England player Len Hutton and former West Indies cricketer Rohan Kanhai are tied in the second position. Hutton’s streak also began with a solid 156* against Australia in Adelaide in 1951. His run got over with yet another splendid innings of 145 against the Aussies at Lord’s in 1953. Kanhai started off his run with a 117-run knock against Australia in Adelaide in 1961 while his streak ended against the same opposition at Georgetown in 1965 when he racked up 89 runs.
2. Mahela Jayawardene (29)
Former Sri Lanka skipper Mahela Jayawardene went 29 innings without getting out early on and his streak began against South Africa in Cape Town in 2001 when he scored 45. His run came to an end against England in Manchester in 2002 when he got dismissed for 28.
1. Rohit Sharma (30)
Rohit Sharma tops this list with his 30 innings streak. It started off against England in Chennai in 2021 when he amassed 12 runs. His run is still active as he last managed to score 80 against West Indies in the second Test of the 2023 series in Trinidad.
