3. Shane Warne (51347)
Shane Warne comes third in the list. Having made his debut way back in the year 1992, the leg-spinner bowled 51347 deliveries in 339 matches. He snared 1001 scalps at an average of 25.51 and a strike rate of 51.2 with best bowling figures of 8/71. In 464 innings, the spin magician took ten wickets in a match ten times and five wickets in an innings 38 times.
2. Anil Kumble (55346)
Anil Kumble finds himself on the second spot on this chart. One of the finest spinners that India ever produced, Kumble made his debut way back in the year 1990 and threw 55346 balls in 403 games. He took 956 wickets at an average of 30.09 and a strike rate of 57.8 with the best bowling figures of 10/74. In 501 innings, Kumble took ten wickets eight times and five-wicket hauls 37. He is one of the three bowlers in Test history to pick all ten wickets in an innings.

The record man Muthiah Muralitharan, who took 800 wickets in Tests, occupies the number one spot on this elite list. The legendary bowler delivered the most balls (63132) in international cricket in 495 matches. He made his debut in 1992 and snared 1347 scalps at an average of 22.86 and a strike rate of 46.8 with the best performance of 9/51. In 583 innings, he took ten wickets 22 times and five-wicket hauls a record 77 times in his illustrious career.
