Most balls bowled in a T20I without a six
India, the current no.1 T20I, failed to hit a six in their latest T20I game against New Zealand despite playing 119 of 120 deliveries. However, New Zealand also failed to hit a six while batting first as fans in Ranchi witnessed a game with a ball flying over the boundary ropes. However, this is not the first time, teams have failed to hit a six in an entire T20I game. So, let’s take a look at top three T20I matches with most balls bowled without a six.

During Pakistan’s tour to England in September 2010, both teams struggled to hit a six in the opening T20I in Cardiff despite playing combined 223 balls. Pakistan managed to score just 126 runs by losing four wickets in 20 overs. But they failed to register a six despite some big hitters present. England reached the target in just 17.1 overs, but they also failed to hit a six, to make it a rare six-less T20I game.

New Zealand scored just 128 runs from 120 balls while batting first and managed 14 fours. Bangladesh’s innings collapsed on just 76 runs from 19.4 overs as they hit six fours but no six.
