The 2022 T20 World Cup is approaching fast and all the teams have already started finalizing their best possible batters for the tournament. On that note, here are three such batters who have stroked most fifties in the T20 format.
3. Virat Kohli (87*)
Former Indian and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli comes third in the list after stroking a total of 87 half-centuries in T20 cricket. Kohli has been a top performer not only for the national team, but he has been one of the consistent performers in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The right-handed batter will want to give his best in the upcoming T20 World Cup and help his side to clinch the trophy.
2. David Warner (101*)
Australian stalwart David Warner comes second in the list after smashing a total of 101 fifties till now. The left-handed batter is in red-hot form and he can pose a danger to the opposition bowlers in the upcoming tournament. Warner does not take much time to settle down and tries to dominate the game. Apart from his stroke-making abilities, Warner is an excellent runner between the wickets which makes him the best T20 batter in the world.

The left-handed batter was the first one to score an international century in the 20-over format. Gayle has proven his mettle in the IPL after he stroked 175* runs against the Pune Warriors India (PWI) in IPL 2013 edition. Despite his retirement from the international format, Gayle can be seen participating in several franchise-based tournaments.
