Mashrafe Mortaza, two other Bangladesh players recover from Covid-19
Former Bangladesh skipper Mashrafe Mortaza confirmed he has recovered from coronavirus after his test results came out negative. The cricketer took to social media on Tuesday (July 14) to make the announcement.
Mortaza had tested positive for Covid-19 on June 20, following which he self-isolated at his Dhaka residence. The cricketer’s younger brother, Morsalin bin Mortaza had confirmed the development at the time.

However, the former captain’s wife Sumona Haque is yet to recover as she continues to test positive. Mortaza asked his fans and well-wishers to keep her in their prayers.
Meanwhile, two other Bangladeshi players – Nafees Iqbal and Nazmul Islam have also recovered about three weeks after being diagnosed with the virus.
