Luminous celebrates 10-year partnership with Sachin Tendulkar

Notching up a milestone partnership with them, the legendary cricketer recently completed 10 years with Luminous Power Technologies, owners of inverter brand Luminous.

It was back in 2010 that Tendulkar was named as the brand ambassador for Luminous. Like many of his partnerships with his fellow batsmen, this stand too remains strong and productive. The previous tag line of Luminous, “Jis pe desh kare bharosa” (The one whom country trusts) cannot describe the Master Blaster’s career more aptly. Speaking about the association of 10 years with Luminous, Tendulkar has tweeted, “What an eventful and fulfilling journey it’s been with Team @myluminous [Luminous]! Together we’ve created many memorable campaigns & unveiled social initiatives like ‘Spreading Happiness’ to achieve the vision of illuminating people’s lives! Hope this bond grows stronger in the years ahead.”

Tendulkar revived the memories of his various campaigns with Luminous over the years. He picked his visit to a Luminous plant in Himanchal Pradesh where he could interact with the team members and their families as his most cherished campaign. The Luminous team responded to the milestone occasion by thanking the legend in a video with hand-written ‘Thank you’ placards for Tendulkar. His iconic presence has helped the brand in enhancing their credibility and encouraging the nation to trust the brand.

Luminous also released a video with Tendulkar reliving their journey together and how it has transformed over the years. The batting legend stressed upon the fact that he learned in his career – victory does not belong to any individual, it belongs to the team. Playing for a winning team like Luminous over the years has been a treat for him and he promised another long innings with them.
