LSG launch their official theme song ahead of IPL 2022
Ahead of the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), one of the two new franchises – Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 22 (Tuesday) released their official theme song. The official theme was uploaded on LSG’s social media account.
The 2:32 minutes long video is being widely shared on social media by the franchise fans. The video starts with the famous rapper Badshah wearing a jersey with the insignia of the Lucknow Super Giants on it, as the video depicts several parts of Uttar Pradesh. The video also features Indian batter and LSG skipper KL Rahul.

The Super Giants will take on another new entrant Gujrat Titans to kick off their IPL 2022 season. The match is slated to be played on March 28 (Monday) at the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The franchise retained the likes of KL Rahul (INR 17 crore), Marcus Stonis (INR 9.2 crore), and Ravi Bishnoi (INR 4 crore) and it turned out to be a huge bonus as they sorted out the captaincy, all-rounder, and a wrist spinner. The franchise also named two-time IPL winner Gautam Gambhir as their mentor.
LSG also made some smart buys during the IPL 2022 mega auction. The franchise picked a total of 21 players in the auction and got some prominent foreign players as well including Quinton de Kock, Jason Holder, Dushmantha Chameera, Kyle Mayers, and Evin Lewis.
