Lance Klusener roped in as team director of Bangla Tigers in T10 League
Former South African all-rounder Lance Klusener has joined the Bangla Tigers team as the new team director. This is a franchise in Abu Dhabi T10 cricket tournament. Klusener has previously coached Zimbabwe and Afghanistan national teams. He now moves to T10 cricket.

“Bangla Tigers is working on to make the team one of strongest in the tournament and for this reason, Lance Klusener has been added to the team management,” Bangla Tigers Chairman Mohammad Yasin Chowdhury said in a statement released on the official franchise website. “I think his cricketing career along with his experience and knowledge will lead the team in the right direction,” he added.
Bangla Tigers, led by Thisara Perera in the 2019 season, managed to reach the playoffs and eventually finished at the third position. With the experienced South African all-rounder at the helm, the team will hope to clinch the title.
This year’s T10 league will be the fourth edition of this tournament. All three previous seasons have seen three different teams earning the crown. This year’s T10 cricket league is scheduled to be held from November 19 to 26 at the Sheikh Abu Zayed Stadium in Abu Dhabi.
