Left-arm wrist spinner Kuldeep Yadav has started his rehabilitation at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. After having a good outing in the Indian Premier League, Kuldeep was named for the five-match T20I series against South Africa at home but was ruled out after suffering a hand injury before the opening encounter. Similarly, KL Rahul, who was appointed to lead the Indian team in that series, also sustained a groin injury and got ruled out for the series.
Talking about Kuldeep, he bowled several match-winning spells for his franchise Delhi Capitals (DC) and outfoxed several prominent batters in IPL 2022. The spinner, on June 28 (Tuesday) shared a picture on the microblogging site as he started his rehabilitation at NCA.

Meanwhile, Team India is gearing up for their rescheduled Test match against the home team England. The Three Lions have recently defeated the Kiwi side in a three-match Test series. The home team was clinical with their performance as they won the series 3-0.
The Test match is slated to be played in Birmingham between July 1 and July 5. After that, the white-ball series will start with three-match T20I series taking place from July 7 (Thursday) and then the same number of ODIs starting from July 12 (Tuesday).
Meanwhile, another Indian team will take on Ireland in the second T20I match to be played on June 28 (Tuesday) at The Village, Malahide, Dublin. The Men in Blue won their previous match against the home team very easily and will look to win the second match as well to grab the series.
The India team management will be looking to back the same players for the second T20I, barring opener Ruturaj Gaikwad who has sustained a calf injury. The wicketkeeper-batter Sanju Samson can be given a chance in the opening slot as the batter had a good outing in the previous edition of the IPL.
