The Beginning

Life as a young cricketer certainly wasn’t easy for Virat. Born in Delhi in a Punjabi family, his father Prem was a criminal lawyer and mother Sajor a housewife. In 2006, Kohli had to deal with the grief of losing his father to a stroke just as he was establishing himself as a budding cricketer on the domestic circuit.

The pair dated for a long-time, before finally tying the knot in Italy in 2017.
