The Beginning
Born in Nangarhar, Afghanistan, Rashid Khan’s family moved to Pakistan for a few years and returned once the situation was peaceful. Making his international debut as a 17-year old, Rashid played an influential role in setting up Afghanistan towards future success. The leg-spinner mystified batsmen with his quick-arm action which saw him topping the bowling charts.
The Rise
IPL Exploits
Rashid is one of the few international cricketers to have a ‘globetrotter’ reputation in T20 cricket leagues. Since his IPL debut in 2017, he has been an integral part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad franchise.
Off The Field
