Ace Windies pacer Kemar Roach has been the brightest hope for the side when the pace attack was at an all-time low. Making his debut back in 2008 for the West Indies, Roach has been one of the most lethal pacers for the side whenever given the chance. 6/48, 1/68 vs Bangladesh (2009)
One of the most brilliant performances from Roach in his career came back in 2009 when the West Indies took on Bangladesh. In the second Test of the series was when Roach was at his best. Batting first, West Indies notched up 237 runs on the board in the first innings. As Bangladesh came in to bat, Roach came in all guns blazing, taking six wickets and conceding 48 runs in his spell. Furthermore, he took another wicket in the second innings, but unfortunately, West Indies lost the game.

Yet another sensational spell by Kemar Roach came in 2022 when Bangladesh took on the West Indies. Batting first, Bangladesh were at the mercy of the Windies bowlers as they were bundled out for just 103 runs in the first innings. Roach made a significant contribution in the first innings, taking two wickets and conceding just 21 runs in eight overs. The West Indies notched up 265 runs on the board in the first innings. In response, Bangladesh were able to amass 245 runs as they were at the mercy of Kemar Roach. The pacer took a brilliant five-for and conceded 53 runs in the process. Ultimately, the Windies chased down the target of 84 runs and won the game.
4/30, 4/52 vs England
Possibly one of the greatest performances from Roach in his career came against England back in 2019. In the first innings, Roach completed a brilliant four-wicket haul. Dismissing Rory Burns, Jonny Bairstow, Moeen Ali, and Sam Curran. His spell was crucial in limiting England to a total of 187 runs in the first innings. West Indies were fabulous with the bat, scoring 306 runs and gaining a considerable lead.
England came in to bat, looking to post a big total on the board for the Windies to chase down. However, they were only able to score 132 runs in the second innings as Kemar Roach once again took four wickets and conceded 52 runs in the process. As the West Indies chase down a meagre target of 14 runs, they registered a brilliant ten-wicket victory.
