Kasun Rajitha, Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka get married on the same day

Sri Lanka team is currently involved in the three-match ODI series against Afghanistan. The visitors led by Hashmatullah Shahidi currently lead the series 1-0 after two matches. Meanwhile, ahead of the third ODI, three Sri Lanka cricketers, Kasun Rajitha, Charith Asalanka and Pathum Nissanka got married on November 28 at three different locations in Colombo.

The development was confirmed by Newswire and Sri Lanka Cricket as well (on their Twitter handle). The fans are perplexed with the timing of their marriage as the team is in the middle of the ODI series and the final game is set to be played on November 30 with Sri Lanka looking to level the series.

Kasun Rajitha, Charith Asalanka, and, Pathum Nissanka will assemble back to join their national teammates as Sri Lanka will be facing the Afghans in the third and final One Day International at the very same venue.
