Kapil Dev helps his fan recover from COVID-19 with a motivational video
Former Indian captain Kapil Dev is one of the most generous human beings. Apart from being one of the greatest Indian captains and the all-rounders to grace the gentlemen’s game, Kapil has another side too. He is also known for his compassion and empathy towards other human beings.
One of the biggest examples of the same was shared by the renowned cricket author Vijay Lokapally. Vijay took to his official Twitter handle to share a heart-warming indecent featuring the former Indian captain. The cricket author revealed that his friend was admitted to a hospital in Hyderabad and was fighting with coronavirus.
To boost the spirits of his friend, Vijay requested Kapil Dev to share a motivational video message and the cricketer obliged to his request. The message from his favourite cricketer acted as a life-saver for the fan as he successfully defeated the deadly virus and returned home from the hospital.
My dear friend Sridhar Ramaraju was battling Covid in a Hyderabad hospital. I requested his hero @therealkapildev to please share an encouraging video message. Seeing the message, Sridhar literally jumped out of the bed. Sridhar came home last night. Kapil da jawaab nahi ?? pic.twitter.com/RcIlct10N5

Kapil Dev’s name is written in golden letters in the annals of Indian cricket. Dev was the first-ever captain to lead India to a World Cup win in 1983. Apart from being one of the best Indian captains, Kapil also registered his name as one of the greatest all-rounders. He was an aggressive lower-order batsman and a lethal bowler who could cause carnage on the field both with the bat and ball.
