Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan illuminate lives of flood-hit families in Maharashtra
What came as a massive blow for Maharashtra is that certain areas of the state were hit drastically by rains. A lot of families have been affected in the state and are fighting out the battle to muster everything all over again. Former India cricketers Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan have thus come forward to help the people in need. The founder of the Jikoni Foundation took it to Twitter to extend his gratitude to the Pathan brothers for the help they have provided to the people of the villages.
In the video tweeted by the founder of the Jikoni Foundation, several villagers are seen venting out their pain and concerns that the tough time of floods brought into their lives. The people have had to toil hard as there was no electricity supply for more than fifteen days since the floods. However, the Pathan brothers and their father’s charitable trust donated solar lights to the people of the flood-affected villages. This made it possible for the villagers to get going with their work as the solar lights are now at their service.
With the assistance of solar-powered electricity, the villagers are now able to get back to their normal lives. They are thus whole-heartedly thanking the cricketer for coming to their aid.
Wonderful and real work on the ground guys. Keep it up. Thank you Lala @iamyusufpathan for this. https://t.co/DniAwUeXzz

Irfan and Yusuf Pathan have been doing splendid work for the Covid patients as well
With the increase in the Covid-19 positive cases during the second wave of the pandemic, people all over the country were struggling to get oxygen cylinders and medicines. Amidst those difficult times, many people had come forward to do everything possible for the people in need. Their father’s trust Mehmoodkhan S Pathan Public Charitable Trust had also been doing marvelous work in these difficult times.
Previously in May, the brothers had donated over 4,000 masks and had made a huge contribution by sending in oxygen concentrators. Irfan Patan had previously taken it to Instagram wherein he had directed the people on how to use the concentrators. They had also distributed ration to more than 90,000 families during the second wave.
