With 3204 runs in 174 IPL matches, Yusuf Pathan is the third Indian player with the most Player of the Match awards to his name (16). In a career that spanned 11 years, Pathan sure made his mark in arguably the biggest T20 league in the world.
MS Dhoni (17)
One of the greatest finishers in cricket history, MS Dhoni sits in second with 17 POTM awards to his name. The legendary keeper batter represents Chennai Super Kings in the IPL, and with 5037 runs in 239 games, Dhoni cemented himself as one of the greatest players ever to participate in the Indian Premier League. The 41-year-old has won numerous matches for Chennai, which has made him a regular Player-of-the-Match award winner.
Rohit Sharma (19)
Current Indian and Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma sits at number one as he is the Indian player with the most POTM award in IPL history. Sitting with 19 awards, Rohit Sharma has been a regular match-winner for both Mumbai Indians and for Deccan Chargers as well. Under his leadership, Mumbai won five IPL titles and continues to do well in the competition.
