IPL 2023: Rishabh Pant marks his presence in Delhi’s 1st home game
Delhi Capitals’ regular skipper Rishabh Pant, who was ruled out of the ongoing Indian Premier League 2023 after sustaining multiple injuries in an accident, marked his presence at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on April 4. Tuesday during the team’s home game against Gujarat Titans.
Pant, who has been struggling to walk, was spotted sitting in the stands in support of his Delhi Capitals. Notably, Pant has been using crutches and starting afresh after the horrific accident. In Pant’s absence, David Warner is leading the Delhi Capitals this season at the IPL.

A terrifying car accident on December 30, 2022, resulted in Rishabh Pant being admitted to the hospital for weeks. The wicketkeeper-batter has been bedridden for some time and undergoing treatment. The 25-year-old keeps sharing videos of his recovery process. He recently had shared a video of him walking in a swimming pool.
Pant has been using crutches for a while, and the entire nation would be hoping for him to recover well. The Indian national team’s next assignment will be the World Test Championship final. The final is set to be played at The Oval starting June 7 against Australia. India recently defeated Australia in the four-match Test series of the Border Gavaskar Trophy, and would be hoping to repeat similar heroics in the WTC final.
