Kuldeep Yadav

Umran Malik
Umran Malik, who was one of the Sunrisers Hyderabad’s mandatory retentions for IPL 2022, bowled exceptionally well this year. While the youngster did go wicketless on a few occasions, he made the ball talk exceptionally well and kept the batters on their toes with their express fast pace. Malik finished his IPL 2022 campaign with 22 scalps to his name from 14 games at an average of 20.18 and economy rate of 9.03.
Kagiso Rabada
Kagiso Rabada was the Punjab Kings’ pace spearhead in IPL 2022. While PBKS failed to impress even this year finishing at the sixth position, the Proteas pace sensation did not let them down and was their most consistent bowler of the season. The South African speedster finished with 23 wickets from 13 matches at an average of 17.65 and an economy rate of 8.45.
Wanindu Hasaranga
Wanindu Hasarana was the Royal Challengers Bangalore’s most consistent performer this year and rattled the batters. The Sri Lankan spinner also registered his maiden five-wicket haul against the Sunrisers Hyderabad. Hasaranga currently takes the top spot in the Orange Cap list with a better average (16.53) and an economy rate (7.54) despite being tied with Chahal in the wickets tally of 26 wickets from 16 games.
Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal showcased his career-best bowling performance in IPL 2022 and had taken a hat-trick as well as a match-winning fifer against the Kolkata Knight Riders. The wrist-spinner claimed the Purple Cap for the very first time as he has registered 27 scalps to his name from 17 outings to end as the top wicket-taker of the season.
