MI confirmed that Yadav has come out of his mandatory quarantine and has joined side for a gym session. Yadav trained alongside Kieron Pollard, Jasprit Bumrah, and youngster Ishan Kishan.
“Suryakumar Yadav exited his mandatory quarantine and joined the team (on Wednesday) for the gym session in the company of his mates Kieron Pollard, Ishan Kishan, and Jasprit Bumrah. The mood in the camp is upbeat,” read a statement released by the Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians lost their opening match against the Delhi Capitals
The Mumbai Indians (MI) went down to the Delhi Capitals (DC) in their opening match of IPL 2022. Even though the Rohit Sharma-led side posted a competitive total of 177/5 on the board, the Capitals chased down the target with four wickets in the kitty. Mumbai Indians leaked a lot of runs in the death overs in their opening rubber.
England pacer Tymal Mills, who is a part of the Mumbai Indians’ (MI) setup for the 2022 season of the IPL stated that death bowling is about the mindset. Adding that a bowler should want to bowl at the death because that is when the pressure is there, Mills stated that he enjoys bowling in that phase.
“Bowling at the death is a lot about the mindset. You need to want to bowl the difficult overs when the pressure is on. It is something that I enjoy,” said Tymal Mills.
Mumbai Indians (MI) are the most successful franchise in the IPL and have won the IPL title a record five times. All their wins have come under the leadership of Rohit Sharma.
