IPL 2022: SRH vs GT Preview – Buoyed Hyderabad up against undefeated Gujarat

The Sunrisers Hyderabad will be locking horns with the Gujarat Titans in Match 21 of IPL 2022 at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on April 11. Both teams will be oozing with confidence heading into this contest having won their respective previous encounters.

While SRH handed an eight-wicket defeat to the southern rivals Chennai Super Kings, the Titans got the better of Punjab Kings by six wickets in a last-ball thriller courtesy of Rahul Tewatia’s two sixes with 12 needed off the last two balls.

The Gujarat Titans are on a roll at the moment and are undefeated so far in the tournament. Their bowling and batting have been exceptional in all the games and a special mention must be given to the middle-order batter Tewatia who has turned out to be the franchise’s finisher.

While this is the first-ever face-off between these two sides in IPL history, the odds are highly stacked against the Sunrisers Hyderabad taking their current form into consideration. The Tamil Nadu speedster can be lethal with the new ball as well as at the death and more importantly, he has the ability to bowl yorkers at will.
