IPL 2022: RCB vs RR Preview – A royal battle on the cards
The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will take on the strong-looking Rajasthan Royals in their upcoming group stage match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. The match is scheduled to play at the Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) Stadium, Pune on April 26 (Tuesday).
The Red Army is coming to the contest after registering their second-lowest total in the history of IPL against Sunrisers Hyderabad. RCB is currently placed fifth on the points table with five wins in eight matches. They have so far beaten Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals, and Kolkata Knight Riders. However, they have suffered defeats at the hands of Punjab Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, and the defending champions Chennai Super Kings.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have looked like a completely different team in the current edition. RR are currently placed third on the points table with just two losses in their seven matches. The Royals have beaten DC, KKR, LSG, MI and SRH. Their two losses came against RCB and the new entrants GT. While RR will be looking to win the match and consolidate their position for the playoffs, RCB will be desperate to get back to the winning ways.
