IPL 2022: RCB vs LSG Review – Faf, Hazlewood lead Bangalore to victory

Royal Challengers Bangalore picked up yet another victory after they defeated the Lucknow Super Giants by 18 runs in Match 31 of IPL 2022. In a 182-run chase, LSG kept losing wickets at regular intervals and they desperately needed a batter from the top three to play a big innings, which did not happen. Josh Hazlewood was the pick of the bowlers for RCB picking up four wickets and turned the game completely in RCB’s favour.

Earlier in the game, KL Rahul won the toss and was happy to leave RCB put up a total. Anuj Rawat and Virat Kohli fell in quick succession and it was up to Faf du Plessis to take his side to a decent score. Glenn Maxwell started well, however, once du Plessis settled in, it was a final over flourish from the likes of him, Shahbaz Ahmed and Dinesh Karthik to take them to a big total.
