IPL 2022 mega auction: 5 Uncapped Indian bowlers who can trigger bidding war
The IPL 2022 mega auction is just ten more days away from taking place in Bengaluru and ten franchises will be battling out for players from the 590 names that have been shortlisted. The franchises have named their retentions ahead of IPL 2022 while the new franchises Ahmedabad and Lucknow have roped in Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul as captains respectively. Harshal Patel was one of the surprise packages that took storm in the previous season to bag the purple cap and let us look at 5 uncapped Indian bowlers who will trigger bidding wars in the IPL 2022 mega auction.
Avesh Khan:
Avesh Khan is expected to be the most expensive uncapped Indian bowler with his ability to hit the good lengths consistently and nail the yorkers as well. The Madhya Pradesh-born lad came through the ranks from the U-19 World Cup at first and he had a breakthrough season in the previous IPL finishing as the second-highest wicket-taker with 24 wickets in 16 games at an average of 18.75. He earned his maiden Indian call up for the New Zealand series but is yet to make his international debut.
Kartik Tyagi:
Kartik Tyagi is one of the upcoming youngsters who was surprisingly not retained by the Rajasthan Royals and he is expected to bag a lot of prices in the upcoming mega auction. The 21-year-old speedster is seen as the future of the Indian side and it was a shame that he could play just the four games in the previous edition due to injury concerns. He can hit the yorkers and has got a bouncer as well which makes him one of the exciting packages.
Shivam Mavi:
Shivam Mavi was also another proposition that was first identified in the U-19 World Cup and the seamer had a fantastic IPL 2021n for KKR where he finished with 11 wickets in nine games. He picked up a four-wicket haul as well and he definitely can hit the high 140Kmph easily. He will be in the eyes of the franchise for his pace and swing with the new ball.
Ishan Porel:
Ishan Porel is one of the names that has been talked about in the Indian circuit for a long time and the fans are yet to see a lot about the youngster. The right-arm seamer has been doing well for Bengal in the domestic circuit and he proved to be a great option for India in the U-19 World Cup 2016. He made his IPL debut for Punjab Kings last year and has played just one game so far.
Rajvardan Hangargekar:
An upcoming sensational all-rounder who can hit the long balls down the order and can bowl a heavy ball as well, Rajvardan Hangargekar is definitely going to be one of the hot picks in the mega auction. He is currently part of the Indian squad in the U-19 World Cup 2022 and has already impressed a lot of experts with his swing. He would be more effective if he can add a little pace.
