IPL 2022: LSG vs GT Review – Gujarat confirm their spot in the playoffs
Gujarat Titans have become the first team in IPL 2022 to guarantee a spot in the IPL 2022 playoffs after the 62-run win against the Lucknow Super Giants in Match 57 of IPL 2022. Chasing a relatively tricky score, LSG kept losing wickets right from the start and Deepak Hooda was the only batter who looked settled. Rashid Khan and Sai Kishore cleaned up the opposition by combinedly picking up six wickets and helped their side to a massive win over the KL Rahul led side.
Earlier, Gujarat Titans opted to bat first after winning the toss and Wriddhiman Saha was dismissed early. Matthew Wade followed Saha as well while Hardik Pandya was removed by the impressive Avesh Khan. However, David Miller (26) and Rahul Tewatia (22) played a good hand alongside Shubman Gill (63*) which helped in posting a good total of 144 in the end.
