IPL 2022: DC vs PBKS Preview – COVID-hit Delhi up against formidable Punjab

Delhi Capitals (DC) will take on the Punjab Kings (PBKS) in their next group stage match of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The match will take place at the Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai on April 20 (Wednesday). Both teams are coming to encounter after losing their previous matches and are desperate to make a comeback in the toughest cricket league in the world.

While DC were handed a defeat by Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in their last game, PBKS lost their last one to Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The Capitals are currently placed at the eighth spot in the points table with only two wins in their five matches. DC have lost its matches against RCB, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), and Gujarat Titans (GT). However, they have successfully managed to defeat Mumbai Indians (MI) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).

PBKS, on the other hand, are placed at the seventh spot with three wins in six matches. The Kings have managed to defeat MI, CSK, and RCB, but have suffered defeats at the hands of SRH, GT and KKR. Both DC and PBKS will desperately want to their next encounter and get two vital points in the points table.
