IPL 2022: DC vs LSG Review – Lucknow labour to a win over Delhi
The IPL has witnessed another match where the youngster Ayush Badoni popped in and finished the game off in style for the Lucknow Super Giants in Match 15. Lucknow did get stuck towards the end of the chase with four overs left after Quinton de Kock was dismissed, however, some lusty blows towards the back end from Krunal Pandya (19*) and Badoni (10*) took their side to the third win of the season.
Earlier, Prithvi Shaw was off to a flyer and took the Lucknow bowling apart in the powerplay with an excellent half-century. After his dismissal, the Delhi side could not adapt to the pace of the wicket and the scoring rate went considerably down. Rishabh Pant (39*) and Sarfaraz Khan (36*) put on a useful partnership but the total of 149 was never going to be daunting enough.
