IPL 2022: CSK vs RCB Review – Dube-Uthappa blow away Bangalore
Chennai Super Kings managed to register their first victory of the season despite the scare from Dinesh Karthik in the end. The Ravindra Jadeja led side picked up wickets at regular intervals and managed to dent the run chase for the RCB franchise. Shahbaz, Suyash Prabhudessai and Karthik all had good starts but couldn’t capitalise to end up on the losing side by 23 runs while chasing a massive 217 runs.
Earlier, CSK were put in to bat first and they had some hiccups with Ruturaj Gaikwad and Moeen Ali falling early. Robin Uthappa (88) and Shivam Dube (95*) steadied the ship with a huge partnership of 165 runs for the third wicket and it got the total above the 200 run mark comfortably. Uthappa hit nine sixes in his match-winning knock and CSK will definitely be happy with the form of the veteran batter.
