IPL 2022: CSK vs GT Review – Gujarat confirm their spot in the top two
Gujarat Titans registered their tenth victory of the season as they defeated Chennai Super Kings in Match 62 of IPL 2022. The Hardik Pandya-led side chased down a relatively low target of 134 comfortably, thanks to an excellent knock from Wriddhiman Saha. David Miller played the second fiddle to Saha and remained unbeaten on 15 off 20 balls to win the game for his team by 7 wickets.
Earlier in the day, Chennai Super Kings opted to bat and the in-form opener Devon Conway was removed early by Mohammed Shami. However, Ruturaj Gaikwad (53) and Moeen Ali (21) stitched a useful partnership for the second wicket. Narayan Jagadeesan, who came into the line-up at number four, remained unbeaten on 39 off 33 to take the side to a total of 133, however, it was never going to be enough.

Wriddhiman Saha was the top scorer for the Gujarat Titans and he carried the side over the line in the run chase with an unbeaten 67 off 57 deliveries. The wicketkeeper-batter played the anchor role to perfection and pierced the gaps constantly to find eight fours and a six .
Mohammed Shami
Mohammed Shami was fantastic with the ball right and was the pick of the bowlers. The right-arm seamer finished with 2 for 19 in his four-over spell at an excellent economy rate of 4.75 and started the attack with the big wicket of Devon Conway in the powerplay.

Gujarat Titans will be up against the Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Wankhede Stadium on May 19 while the Chennai Super Kings will take on the Rajasthan Royals in their next encounter at the Brabourne Stadium on May 20.
