IPL 2022 Auction: 3 uncapped players who will command a huge price
Uncapped players are expected to have more value in the upcoming IPL 2022 mega auction as ten teams will be taking part in IPL 2022. As many as 355 uncapped players have been shortlisted for the mega auction and an intense battle is expected for the U-19 players as well who did really well in the recent U-19 World Cup.
Here are 3 uncapped players who could be one of the most expensive players in the auction.
Shahrukh Khan:
Shahrukh Khan has been in fine touch in the domestic tournaments including the recently concluded Vijay Hazare Trophy and the Syed Mushtaq Ali trophy. The 26-year-old has played just the 11 games so far in IPL but has shown glimpses of his hard-hitting abilities and can play the finisher role to perfection as well. He has been recently picked for the ongoing ODI series against West Indies and is expected to be the most expensive uncapped player in the auction.
Avesh Khan:
Avesh Khan had a brilliant IPL season and it did come out as a big surprise when he wasn’t retained by the Delhi Capitals franchise. The 25-year-old has been instrumental in the Delhi Capital’s success in the last edition where he picked up 24 wickets in 16 games. He can hit the yorkers and bowl a heavy ball as well and is expected to be targeted by many franchises in the mega auction.
Kartik Tyagi:
Kartik Tyagi has been superb in the limited opportunities he has got in IPL for the Rajasthan Royals and looks like an excellent prospect for the future as well. He has been slippery and can get the short stuff going, making him one of the big threats for the batters. His wicket-taking ability will be assessed and is likely to create a bidding war among the franchises.
