IPL 2021: Usain Bolt has a special message for Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers
One of the greatest sprinters of all times, Usain Bolt joined the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) most-talked-about conversation regarding speed. A few days back, batting maestro Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers caused a stir on social media when the two challenged each other for a race after they assembled in the RCB camp at Chennai for the highly-anticipated 14th edition of the IPL.

Virat and AB’s interaction on Twitter soon became viral with many people demanding a live telecast of the race between the two of the fittest cricketers of modern times. Meanwhile, a multi-time Olympics gold medalist also joined the bandwagon as he took to his official Twitter handle to remind the two stars of the Bangalore outfit that he is still the fastest person around and will be hard to beat.
“Challengers, just letting you know, I’m still the fastest cat around. @imVkohli @ABdeVilliers17 @pumacricket @RCBTweets,” Usain Bolt captioned his photo on Twitter.

Usain Bolt’s tweet about the RCB players managed to attract the attention of people on Twitter. The tweet was showered with love and comments from all over the world. Meanwhile, it was a promotional strategy to announce PUMA as RCB’s sponsor for IPL 2021 in a unique way.
RCB to play their first match against Mumbai Indians
The inaugural match of the 2021 edition of the T20 extravaganza will be nothing less than a blockbuster as the two most talked-about franchises including the likes of Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians will lock horns against each other in Chennai. RCB will be hoping to start their campaign on a winning note and make a case for winning their maiden IPL trophy.
The Challengers had a decent run in the tournament last year in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) as they reached the playoffs after finishing at the fourth position on the points table. However, the team flattened towards the end and was thus out of the league after registering defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the Eliminator.
Coming into IPL 2021, RCB has made a lot of changes in their squad and will be hoping to cross the line this time. One of the highlights of the team is the presence of Australian all-rounder Glenn Maxwell.
