IPL 2021: SRH vs MI Preview – Mumbai face the stiffest odds to enter the playoffs
Sunrisers Hyderabad will be meeting Mumbai Indians as both the teams conclude their league phases for the IPL 2021. Hyderabad are coming into this match on the back of their third win this season in 13 matches. There isn’t a lot at stake for them, but a win right at the end might make this group feel better about themselves.
Mumbai are coming off a win as well, against Rajasthan. That win has given them a good enough chance to make it to the playoffs. A win in this game will help them to enter the next round but they also have to beat SRH with a 170-plus runs margin which will be an IPL record. With so much to play for Mumbai Indians, this game could be cracking with only one team hogging the attention.

IPL 2021 Match 55 – Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians
Venue: Sheikh Zayed Stadium, Abu Dhabi
Time: 7:30 PM IST
Team News:
Sunrisers Hyderabad: Umran Malik has been a great find for Sunrisers Hyderabad so far and has impressed everyone with his bowling. He should get another chance and will retain his place in the side. Jason Roy, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder have been the overseas picks in the last few matches and will continue to remain without any changes. The Indian contingent might need a bit of a change, but considering the bench strength, it seems that the options were quite limited. In this situation, going with the same team is something that you can expect Hyderabad to do. On top of that, the fact that they won their last game might also encourage them to play with the same side.
Mumbai Indians: The Mumbai team made two big changes in their XI for their last encounter against Rajasthan. Jimmy Neesham replaced Krunal Pandya, while Ishan Kishan was favoured in place of Quinton de Kock. The move turned out to be excellent with Kishan getting an all-important fifty while Neesham ending with figures of 3 for 12. Given the performances put up by de Kock and Pandya, we might see Mumbai sticking with Neesham and Kishan for this crucial game. Rahul Chahar was also not brought in as Jayant Yadav continued in the XI. He bowled only two overs and could sit out for this game. If that happens, Chahar will come back into the side. Mumbai are not expected to change anything more than that.
