IPL 2021: RR vs KKR, Stats Preview: Upcoming records and approaching milestones

Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders have got off to a terrible start to their campaign in IPL 2021. They have lost three of the four matches played this season. KKR won its first game against SRH but then went on to lose the next three matches in a row. Their middle order has been quite inconsistent, and the top order has fired in only some of the games.

On the other hand, the RR bowling lineup looked completely clueless in their clash against RCB in the last game. Capitan Sanju Samson smashed a century in the first game against Punjab Kings but has failed in the following games. Jos Buttler has also not made an impact in this season so far.

Let’s look at important stats and numbers before the start of the IPL clash between Rajasthan Royals and Kolkata Knight Riders:

86 – David Miller has scored 1914 IPL runs in 81 innings so far. He needs 86 more runs to complete 2000 runs in the tournament.

43 – Eoin Morgan has accumulated 6957 T20 runs in 299 innings. He needs 43 more runs to complete 7000 T20 runs, and become the fourth English player to achieve the milestone. Alex Hales, Ravi Bopara, and Luke Wright are the other English players to reach the landmark.
