IPL 2021: Rohit Sharma trolls David Warner after the latter lands in India
Everyone is aware that Rohit Sharma has a cheeky sense of humour. The Mumbai Indians player has often seen posting funny comments on the social media posts of his teammates. On Saturday, Rohit trolled Australian batsman David Warner on Instagram with a witty comment, which can be expected only out of the Indian opener.
On Saturday, Warner posted a video of himself on his official Instagram account. Through the video, he informed his fans that he has arrived in India for the upcoming 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League. He will be seen back in action as the skipper of the Sunrisers Hyderabad. He also revealed that he has to spend seven days in quarantine after his arrival, due to the COVID-19 protocols.
During the video, the southpaw also revealed that he had arrived in Chennai on Friday afternoon. He told his fans that he needs ideas from them to get through this quarantine period.
He put a caption with the video which read, “I’ve arrived and ready to go but one problem I need some ideas to get through the next few days of quarantine!! Please give me some ideas please comment below.”

‘Must be missing Tik Tok’ – Rohit Sharma reminds David Warner he can’t use Tik Tok in India
Upon seeing this video, Sharma decided to put up a comment to troll Warner. The 33-year-old took a jibe at Australia suggesting that he might be missing Tik Tok. After the pandemic started and lockdown forced people to stay at home, Warner became a sensational star on Tik Tok, which is a social media app that allows people to make short videos, with background music or tune.
Warner produced many such funny videos on Tik Tok during the lockdown and continued it after that as well. He even had his family get on with it. However, the social media app is banned in India. Hence, Warner would not be able to enjoy making his Tik Tok videos once he is in the country.
It can be guessed that Sharma was trying to say that to the Australian player with this comment. As of now, we can say that Warner’s fans would not get any other Tik Tok video from him until he is in India for the IPL 2021.
