Sunrisers Hyderabad have a number of match-winners in their ranks

The Sunrisers Hyderabad side has a number of match-winners in their arsenal. The likes of David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Jason Holder, Kane Williamson, and Rashid Khan are some players who can turn the fortunes of the game on its head. Also, their skipper David Warner is the only batsman in IPL history to have won the coveted ‘Orange Cap’ award a colossal three times.

The Hyderabad outfit has been a very consistent side in the IPL. Out of the 8 editions that they have taken part in, the ‘Orange Army’ has reached the Playoffs on 6 occasions. While they won the title in the year 2016, the Hyderabad side also finished as the runners up in the 2018 edition of the IPL.

In the 2020 IPL season that was held in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the Sun Risers Hyderabad side was eliminated out of the tournament during the Playoff stage. They lost the second qualifier against the Delhi Capitals (DC) side.

Rashid Khan will easily qualify as one of the best spinners in T20 cricket at the moment. The 22-year-old has played 62 IPL matches and has scalped 75 wickets at an excellent strike rate of 19.68.
