IPL 2021: Mumbai Indians’ scout and consultant Kiran More tests positive for COVID-19
The coronavirus continues to plague the Indian Premier League. After the news of ground staff, broadcasters and cricketers testing positive for the virus, Kiran More, the scout and the wicketkeeping consultant of Mumbai Indians is the latest in the list. The development was confirmed by the franchisee via their official Twitter handle. More has represented India in 49 Tests and 94 ODIs and is widely regarded as one of the finest Indian wicketkeepers.

According to the statement released by Mumbai Indians, More is currently asymptomatic and has been isolated from the rest of the team. The MI medical team will continue to monitor his health and shall follow the health and safety protocols laid by the BCCI.
Mumbai Indians, the five-time IPL champions, are currently training in Chennai. They are set to clash with Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening encounter of the IPL 2021 which shall take place at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on 9th April.
