IPL 2021: MI vs RR, Stats Review – Mumbai’s winning record and more stats
Mumbai Indians overcome their middle-order woes in the middle of the season, to seal a dominating win against Rajasthan Royals. Mumbai put an end to their rare two-match losing streak with a dominating win against Rajasthan, who were the only team that could dominate MI in the last three seasons of IPL. Rajasthan had equal contributions from their top-four with Jos Buttler, Yashaswi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson, and Shivam Dube all crossing 30.
Despite losing their skipper Rohit Sharma early, Mumbai Indians had Quinton de Kock who comfortably steered the chase by scoring his first fifty in 11 innings. Mumbai Indians successfully chased 172 runs in 18.3 overs, with 7 wickets remaining – exactly the same which Chennai Super Kings did to Sunrisers Hyderabad yesterday.
