IPL 2021: Harsha Bhogle reveals the reason why players grow in the MI franchise

However, the Eoin Morgan-led side could not manage to overhaul the target. And, one of the chief architects of Mumbai’s victory with the ball was Rahul Chahar. The leg spinner scalped 4 wickets and gave away just 27 runs in his quota of 4 overs. In fact, Chahar was the man who ripped through the entire Kolkata top order.
In the post-match presentation ceremony, Chahar heaped praise on his skipper Rohit Sharma. He revealed that even at times when his confidence is down, it is Rohit who reposes faith in him to lift him up. Chahar concluded by stating that the Mumbai Indians (MI) is a special franchise because they take care of their players even during the off-season.
“My confidence is sometimes down, but Rohit shows confidence in me to lift me up. Mumbai Indians takes care of its players during the off-season as well, and that’s why it is such a special franchise,” revealed Chahar at the post-match presentation ceremony.
