Mumbai Indians single-handedly dominated the IPL 2020 season and came out winning their 5th title. The defending champions also broke the odd-even jinx in as they secured their first IPL triumph in an even year. Now to further claim a hat-trick of IPL glories in the upcoming edition of 2021, Mumbai Indians will need to continue with their strong team. With IPL 2021 auction around the corner, here can be five cricketers they can easily add to their roaster.
5. Colin Munro
Colin Munro who can spontaneously start dismantling the new ball into the stands was last seen with Delhi Capitals in the 12th IPL edition. The New Zealand based left-handed opener has an eye-catching record of featuring in 65 matches and scoring 1724 runs in T20Is. His pinch-hitting ability might tempt MI again to take a gamble in the 14th edition by making their batting much more explosive which was the occurrence back in 2015 when Munro was brought as the replacement of the injured Aaron Finch.
4. Manoj Tiwary
Manoj Tiwary who is vividly remembered for his short cameo in the last over making KKR taste its first IPL glory in 2012 has been in incredible form for his domestic team. The 37-year-old has made 3204 runs in 174 matches at an amazing strike rate of above 140. His monstrous sixes have been a delight to watch especially if you are a KKR or an RR supporter. However, if Mumbai Indians desire to increase their wavelength of explosiveness then Yusuf Pathan can be an added bonus.
