IPL 2021: DC vs RCB, Stats Preview – Upcoming Records and Approaching Milestones

AB de Villiers

The No.2 and No.3 placed teams take on each other in the IPL clash tonight. Both the teams would relish winning so as to secure the top spot in the points table and have an edge over sealing a first qualifier berth. Both RCB and DC won four matches and lost only once. The Delhi Capitals have won by the barest of margins in their previous match against SRH, while Royal Challengers Bangalore were completely blown away by Ravindra Jadeja’s individual brilliance after winning their first four matches.

Delhi Daredevils are hoping that the Orange Cap holder Shikhar Dhawan extends his lead at the top, with perfect support from the youngsters Rishabh Pant and Prithvi Shaw. RCB have their own famous names in batting which need no introduction.

In the bowling, RCB’s Harshal Patel leads the Purple Cap charts followed by an uncapped player from the opposition DC’s Avesh Khan in the second place. Harshal would hope that his 37-run over to Ravindra Jadeja was just a one-off and return to his wicket-taking ways by which he was dominant in Purple Cap contention from the first match.
