IPL 2021: Anrich Nortje’s cheeky reply in Hindi perfectly sums up UAE conditions
Delhi Capitals are currently sitting pretty at the top of the table with 12 points in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The Capitals performed well as a unit under the leadership of wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant and played an aggressive brand of cricket. Although the side had to deal with a fair number of injuries to players, the team yet had players stepping up at crucial junctures such as Shikhar Dhawan, Prithvi Shaw and Marcus Stonis.
But few players like Shreyas Iyer and Anrich Norjte have returned to the fold for the start of the UAE leg of the IPL, which will begin on September 19. While Iyer will straightway slot in the middle-order of the Capitals batting line-up, Norjte yet again will be the main strike bowler for the team along with Kagiso Rabada.
“Hopefully we can repeat what we did in that year in Dubai.” 👊🏼

Ahead of the Capitals UAE leg resumption, Norjte was seen sweating it out in the nets and trying to get into the groove for the remainder of the season. Considering it is peak summer in the UAE, Norjte was seen sweating. Nonetheless, he saw the fun side of it and gave a cheeky reply in Hindi to just lift the morale of his teammates.
The South African speedster was caught in the action by Delhi Capitals TV #CapitalsUnplugged wherein he was asked about how he felt seeing the boys after the quarantine. “Garmi bahut hai, but theek hai”! As soon as Norjte answered the question in Hindi, he had a cheeky smile on his face.
The Capitals shared the video on their official Twitter account.
