Trent delivers Thunder ‘Boults’
Sending Marcus Stoinis at the top helped Delhi in winning their previous match but against Mumbai Indians, they should have thought differently according to Tendulkar. Mumbai possess the best fast bowling attack in the tournament and Stoinis would have been more useful as a power-hitter in the death overs. Tendulkar praised Trent Boult for his immaculate bowling in the opening spell.
Tendulkar explained the mind games being played between Jasprit Bumrah and Shikhar Dhawan. The legend also liked the move of bringing on off-spinner Jayant Yadav against Dhawan. After losing early wickets, Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant stitched a 96-run partnership. Pant’s dismissal at a crucial stage of the game and Boult’s opening spell were the game-changing moments according to the Master Blaster.
