IPL 2020: DC vs SRH Preview – Unbeaten Delhi face listless Hyderabad
Shreyas Iyer’s Delhi Capitals and David Warner’s Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on each other at the Sheikh Zayed Stadium in Match 11 of IPL 2020. Delhi have won both their games, while Hyderabad are yet to open their account in as many matches. Delhi decimated Chennai Super Kings by 44 runs after defeating Punjab in the super-over. Hyderabad lost to KKR by 7 wickets and had begun their campaign with a loss against RCB too.
Hyderabad needs to introspect a lot after their consecutive defeats. They put up a dismal performance in all the departments against KKR. They would be hoping for their captain David Warner to come back to form. They also need to improve the long-lasting problem of middle-order batting. Delhi improved their top-order batting from the previous game, with Dhawan and Shaw continuing their form from last year. Their bowling also did well, with star-bowler Kagiso and Anrich Nortje coming good at crucial junctures.

Delhi would be hoping for Ravichandran Ashwin to regain his fitness very soon. Captain Shreyas Iyer said that he would be rested for another 2-3 games at the toss in the previous game against CSK. Apart from that, they would not be looking to tinker around much with the existing combination. They could, however, consider replacing Avesh Khan with Harshal Patel.
Sunrisers Hyderabad:
Star batsman and New Zealand captain Kane Williamson confirmed his availability for this crucial fixture. He would be extremely integral for strengthening their existing batting order. Captain David Warner pointed out their major flaw in the previous match- playing too many dot balls (35). He also backed his decision to bat first, saying that he trusts his bowling attack.
