India win both their warm-up matches against England and Australia

Speaking about India’s preparations for the T20 World Cup, the team has gained momentum and confidence as it managed to beat England and Australia in two warm-up games. On both the wins, the top-order batters contributed heavily and managed to chase the target down with relative ease. In the first game against England, chasing a steep target of 189, openers Ishan Kishan and KL Rahul scored 70 and 51 respectively to give India a seven-wicket victory.

In the second encounter against Australia, captain Rohit Sharma warmed up nicely and scored brisk 60 runs. Suryakumar Yadav too got back amongst runs and scored a valuable unbeaten 38 runs. The biggest positive though for India would be all-rounder Hardik Pandya finishing things off in style. He scored 14 runs and finished the run-chase with 13 balls to spare.
