IND vs SA: Tickets almost sold out for first T20I in Delhi
After massive improvements in the Covid-19 pandemic situation, the crowds are back in the stadiums and in the latest developments, it has been learnt that 94 percent of tickets have been sold out for the first T20I at Delhi between India and South Africa. The series opener will take place at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on June 9 with a capacity of 35,000. This will be the first international game at the venue since 2019 and no wonder, the fans have shown a lot of excitement already.
With the T20 World Cup 2022 coming up this October in Australia, the Indian side is expected to use this series to keep an eye on the performances. KL Rahul will lead the side in absence of big names like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah while some of the youngsters have been given the nod as well based on their impressive IPL performances. Arshdeep Singh and Umran Malik have earned their maiden call ups.
